Bria Morton

As a current student pursuing her MHA, Bria leverages her academic insights and practical experience to assist with the development of data-driven strategic solutions to complex healthcare challenges. Her proficiency in PowerPoint and writing is utilized for building comprehensive strategic reports and presentations.

At UNC – Chapel Hill, Bria is active in many student groups, including the UNC Healthcare Consulting Club and the UNC Healthcare Executives Student Association. She is also a Student Associate for the NC Chapter of the National Association of Health Services Executives.

In her role at Ascendient, Bria is motivated by the opportunity to collaborate with powerhouse strategists who inspire her with their expertise while also entrusting her contributions. Being part of a team that values her insights and inputs fuels her drive to excel and grow within the field.

A native of Atlanta, Bria spent 6 years working with a homeschool and tutoring business that served a predominantly minority community. In addition, she gained grant writing experience, notably securing $10,000 for female-owned law firm. As a newcomer to Durham, NC, Bria has been spending time exploring the area. She also loves traveling, yoga, cooking and (mild) hiking.
