Zheng-Liann draws on her background in research and the humanities to help health systems thoughtfully interpret the many subtleties of CON and CHNA documentation. Weaving together the descriptive and the quantitative, she crafts compelling arguments for the creation or addition of services designed to better meet health needs within a community.
As a committed believer in the power of effective communication, Zheng-Liann is deeply invested in using language as a means to both explore and shape the ever-changing landscape of the healthcare industry. Whether as writer or reader, she finds the greatest enrichment in open dialogue and a spirited exchange of ideas between passionate individuals.
Prior to joining Ascendient, Zheng-Liann spent several years in Wisconsin as a trainer at Epic, supporting clinicians and analysts as they applied electronic medical record software to patient care across the spectrum of inpatient and outpatient settings.
When away from her desk, Zheng-Liann enjoys listening to music, leisurely tea sessions, and continuing the never-ending hunt for out-of-print classics in used bookstores.
