Lauren Bellman

A native of Sandwich, Mass., Lauren majored in political science and criminal justice, then spent 10 years working for the United States Senate, including roles with the 2005 Presidential Inauguration and the Committee on Rules & Administration. Since moving to the private sector (and to NC), she has worked as an executive assistant for corporations such as Cerner , Honda Aircraft Company, and Big Rock Sports.

At Ascendient, she serves as a gateway for all three partners, enabling intentional and focused time with staff and clients. As someone who thrives behind the scenes, Lauren enjoys managing the details that ensure reliability and consistency in the day-to-day office function. She recently completed her certification as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) from HRCI.

In her spare time, Lauren loves baking and cooking … and to balance her love of food, she tries to stay active and exercise. She enjoys hiking in the mountains with her husband, Byron, two kids (Tristan 16 and Grace 9) and sweet dog Lucky (4).
