Kim has called North Carolina home for most of her life and has extensive experience working with state and federal regulatory processes. As a former CON Project Analyst with the NC Department of Health and Human Services, she understands Certificate of Need law through the eyes of a regulator and excels at researching historical decisions and actions taken by the state agencies making CON decisions.
In her work at Ascendient, Kim assists with project logistics and provides background and research for developing the narratives for qualitative and quantitative need. She particularly enjoys meeting people and understanding the healthcare needs of a community and developing a plan for how best to meet those needs.
When she's not immersed in CON projects, Kim enjoys biking and walking on the greenways in hometown of Raleigh, traveling, and spending time with her grown kids, husband, and two standard poodles.
