With a decade of experience spanning strategy, finance, and reimbursement, Alex brings a broad view of the healthcare landscape to his role at Ascendient, where he supports clients' CON applications with detailed financial analysis and volume models.

Alex believes that his well-rounded background allows him to understand how tomorrow's forecasts are influenced by yesterday's trends. Starting his career in strategy and operational finance at a large health system, Alex then transitioned into regulatory reimbursement consulting, gaining valuable insights into Medicare and Medicaid. At Ascendient, he enjoys getting to know the clients' needs and working on projects with a direct, tangible impact on local communities.

When he is not working remotely from Asheville, NC, Alex enjoys hikes with his wife and dog, a good sandwich, and finding time to have a cup of coffee and catch his breath.
